I think this is the summary of my life and it’s been particularly relevant to me recently. I like this quote, not only because I believe it to be true and I am a fan of truth, but also because it’s encouraging to know that it’s a sentiment shared by others. It’s also perhaps an incentive to stop. Because this is the kind of thinking that promotes loneliness, misery, lack of compassion and conflict and there’s quite enough of that as it is, we really don’t need more.
