August was a super slumpy month for me. It’s probably the least I have ever read in one month in a while. I have completed only one book in August. I did start several other books, but because of the slump, I didn’t progress very much with them. The last week or so of the month, I started enjoying reading again, and that’s when I read my one and only book for the month. So let’s talk about it.
To Best the Boys by Mary Weber
I’ve already reviewed this book, so it’s almost pointless for me to make this wrap-up. But I will anyway. I didn’t like this book. The world-building was unbelievable to me. It was also predictable and clichee, but I picked it up specifically because I knew it would be, so that didn’t bother me. You can read my review for more of my thoughts, but I gave this 2/5 stars.
