"No one ever told me that grief felt so like fear." - C. S. Lewis
This is the first line from possibly my favourite nonfiction that I’ve ever read: A Grief Observed by C. S. Lewis. I don’t read nonfiction that often, but this was a very powerful book. I read it twice in two days, that’s how much I loved it. I highly recommend it. It’s a diary of sorts, written by Lewis when his wife died. C. S. Lewis is one of my favourite authors and intellectuals and his book is very raw and profound.
