Burn, Rewrite or Reread Book Tag

I wanted to do a book tag today because I love doing book tags, so I was looking for a cool one to do and I saw this one over at Thrice Read and I decided to do this. So here it goes.

The Rules:

-Randomly choose 3 books.(You can use the ‘Random’ option on your Goodreads read shelf.)

-For each group, decide which book to burn, which one to rewrite, and which to reread.

-Repeat until you’ve completed three four rounds.

Round one

Burn: The Captive by L.J Smith. I didn’t really like this book. Or this series, in fact. It’s actually part of my latest addition to my “Series I won’t finish” list.

Rewrite: The Gold Bug by Edgar Allan Poe. It’s not that I think this needs rewriting, it’s just that I would rather reread the other one.

Reread: 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea by Jules Verne. I used to love Jules Verne’s books and it’s been forever since I last read or reread one of them. So I would like to reread this.

Round two:

Burn: The Fall of Five by Pirracus Lore. I don’t care much about this book or this series. It’s another one of those series I won’t be finishing.

Rewrite: The Seventh Dwarf by Eoin Colfer. I would rewrite this to be longer because Much Diggums. I want more of this gross kleptomaniac. I just… please. Actually, I want more in the Aretmis Fowl series. Please.

Reread: This was obviously going to be Order of the Phoenix. Not only is this a HP book, but it’s my second favourite HP book. Of course I want to reread it.

Round three:

Burn: Slither by Joseph Delaney. It seems I consistently get one book in a series I don’t care about very much so it’s so easy to pick the burns. That isn’t to say that I didn’t enjoy this book. It’s actually one of my favourites in the series. I just don’t care about the series that much.

RewriteBitterblue by Kristin Cashore. I would just rewrite this to include more details about King Leck and his rule. Because he may have been a crazy, delusional sadist, but he was hella interesting.

Reread:  Paper Towns by John Green. I loved this book, I loved the mystery and the themes and the black Santas and all.

Round four:

Burn: Adrift in the Pacific: Two Years Holiday by Jules Verne. Sorry, Jules. I love you and all, but you can’t compare to time travel and parallel universes and certainly not to my Queen.

Rewrite: The Very First Damned Thing by Jodi Taylor. I would rewrite this to be less confusing. I am still confused about when and where exactly this takes place. And if it’s in a parallel universe, why is it relevant to the series and how does it work?

Reread: It was obviously going to be Queen of Shadows. This book was just awesome and why wouldn’t I want to reread it?

I did an extra round because I enjoyed doing it so much. I’m going to tag my 5 newest followers to do this because thank you for following me and let’s get to know each other. If  you’ve already done this and don’t want to do it again or simply don’t like this kind of posts, that’s fine! But if you do decide to do it, leave a link to your post in the comments below.
